Job Description
Position Summary:

TheCustomerServiceSupervisorisresponsibleforstrategicoversightofallDivisionalcustomerserviceoperationswithintheorder managementprocess.Positionwillinteractonadailybasiswithcustomers,production,logistics,andsalesstafftoeffectivelymeetcustomer service standards and support the Division's strategic initiatives.

Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:

PositionwilldirectlyreporttoDivisionCommercialManagerandsupervisesrelatedcustomerservice personnel.

Essential Functions:
  • Overseeing and assessing customer service staff activities and providing them with regular performance-related feedback.
  • Optimizing the various customer service operations to improve the overall Parker Customer Experience
  • Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations.
  • Assisting customer service staff with duties where required.
  • Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies and explaining these to staff and customers.
  • Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities.
  • Maintaining the daily/ monthly customer claims process including corrective actions.
  • Customer specific assignments
  • Administer customer specific rebate and discount program(s)

Performing additional duties where needed.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's collegedegreeinbusinessorrelateddiscipline required.

-Possessanalytical andtechnicalskillsrequired to understand business practicesandprocesses.

-Minimum 3 yrs in a manufacturing/distribution environment with supervisory experience.

-Mustpossessadvancedcomputer software skills and ERP software systems.

-Excellentwritten,verbal,andinterpersonalcommunicationskillsforeffectiveinterfacewithallinternalandexternalcontacts.

-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
